NORTHWEST SAFETY FIRST was established to provide quality firearms and personal protection safety and skills to the general public. By providing you with the necessary education and training to protect yourself and your loved ones should that day every come. It’s our goal to improve your personal awareness of your surroundings in your day to day life to help you avoid putting yourself in harm’s way. Don’t allow yourself to be backed into a corner with no way out. In doing so, it is our goal to help make the communities in which we live in safer for everyone. It is our passion to teach others to improve their personal awareness, confidence level, firearm and safety skills, no matter what their experience level is.

J. B. Herren, a certified Utah Concealed Firearms Permit Instructor in all 50 states. He is also a Certified NRA Firearms Instructor, training in most of the 13 western states. Mr. Herren is a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer. Mr. Herren offers detailed information on appropriate handgun and caliber choices for individual concealed carry scenarios.
Glenda Edwards assists J.B. with training. She is a NRA Certified Range Safety Officer. She is approved to take fingerprints and photos for Utah CFP applications.
